Comments: the best of the Japanese Ryokan
I am a big fan of the Japanese inns or ryokan. I live in Japan. This book covers one of the ryokan I have stayed at, which makes it a beautiful souvenir. This book is not only gorgeous to look at, it is loaded with information about the Japanese traditional way of life. There is much information about Japanese craft, art, history, and culture. The photography is exquisite. I am making plans, or at least wishing to stay at some of the other ryokan featured in the book.
