Comments: This How to Book is not for an Amatuer This book does provide some very useful information, but I found myself reading sections over several times to get an understanding of some of the terminology. It does provide a good outline of what steps to follow to restore a hardwood floor that had been covered by carpeting for quite some years (this was my project). Two things that I believe would have made this book better are more illustrations providing examples and a glossary to serve as a reference for some of the terminology used. Overall, the book does provide very helpful information and definitely got me going in the right direction to restoring my mother-n-laws hardwood floors
