Q   I am shopping for carpet and was wondering how much difference there is between a 100% Olefin Berber and a 92% Olefin/8% Nylon blend Berber. Thanks!
A   Almost no difference... in that kind of blend.

The nylon used is only for color... the little specks that give a berber it's look are usually nylon... so little of it is used that there is no practical benefit for it and it is totally a styling element not a wear benefit.
