Q   what is your advice on installing berber and owing 2 dogs? Is this a big mistake? maryann p
A   The only problem with dogs and berber is that some dogs need their toenails clipped. Otherwise, they can "pull" a thread the width of the carpet. I would get one of the Mohawk berbers with the high tuft bind (20 lbs or so) back. They are very difficult to pull.
