A Long History Of Creating Beautiful Floors
The crafting of Formica Laminate Flooring traces its roots back to an Austrian sawmill in 1897. Among the course of the next 100-plus years, lessons were learned, techniques were perfected and new ways to turn wood into beautiful floors evolved. In the late 1940's woodworkers, engineers and machinists joined hands to give birth to the process that eventually would lead to Formica Laminate Flooring. Today' that perfected process provides homeowners with all the beauty of natural hardwoods and stones with many more advantages.

Made With Your Environment In Mind
Formica Laminate Flooring is a natural product. Only fresh pine from ecological forest thinning operations is used to produce the high-density fiber core of the planks. All production is conducted under the strictest supervision and controls. The percentage of wood used in Formica Laminate Flooring is a consistent 80-85 percent. Absolutely no harmful substances such as halogen, chloride, PVC, PCB or dioxin are contained in Formica Flooring. With its use, Formica Flooring contributes to a natural and healthy room climate. It is in conformity with the highest health standards and is particularly recommended for people with dust allergies. After installation, scraps can be disposed of as ordinary household refuse.
