Barlinek floorboard is a floor made one hundred per cent of natural wood that does not undergo any modification processes. It ideally combines working properties and aesthetic values of wood with the ease of installation and maintenance. Barlinek floorboard ensures excellent thermal and acoustic isolation; it is resistant to strain and mechanical damage. The wood hygroscopicity allows Barkiet for the natural regulation of the microclimate of the interior in which it is fitted. All the components used to produce the flooring conform to the toughest environmental norms. The floor can be laid in bedrooms, children rooms and nursery schools at no risk.

Barlinek floorboard - means three layers of natural wood and as many as seven protective coatings:

  1. Two layers of acrylic surface finish, UV hardened
  2. Three layers of acrylic primer, UV hardened
  3. Acrylic filler, UV hardened
  4. Ground layer, UV hardened
  5. Face (top) layer (3.5mm): beech, oak, sycamore, pine, birch, and exotic timber.
  6. Core (centre) cross band (8mm), softwood
  7. Back (bottom) layer (3.5 mm), coniferous

The Barlinek floorboard consists of three layers of natural wood fixed with an ecological adhesive-to-wood bond. The bottom and core layers are made from softwood and measure 3.5 mm and 8 mm respectively, while the face layer, 3.5mm in thickness, is made from precious wood. The decorative veneer of the product is polished and may have seven coats of UV lacquer (in different gloss options), oiled with the natural colour of wood retained or with a bleached effect; a custom-made "raw floor" without finishing the surface; and leached or waxed floor. After years of use it may undergo renovation by sanding and e.g. re-lacquering.

Classification of the Barlinek floorboard with regard to the type of the surface layer:

  • EXCLUSIVE - the floorboards are characterised by a natural, fairly unified colour and a simple ring layout.
  • SELECT - floorboards of a natural, fairly unified colour and a random wood marking on the surface layer, with possible slight discolouring and healthy pinknots.
  • FAMILY - the surface layer is characterised by varied colouring, random wood marking, with the possibility of occurrence of boils, tanning stains, false heartwood and healthy knots.

Barlinek floorboard is produced in the following ranges:

  • PREMIUM - the widest available single strip floorboard without division of the front into clear rows of planks: oak, beech, ash.
  • THREE STRIP - the most popular with three rows of planks within the board's width, available in all tree types in the offer.
