About Bamboo Flooring Corporation
At BFI, our recipe for success begins with carefully harvested gourmet bamboo and then processing it using advanced technology, which includes cooking it with tender care, finishing the top with a touch of class, and serving it to you for a lifetime of beauty. Designed for professionals who demand beauty, durability, and quick and easy maintenance, our high-tech acrylic polyurethane finish will turn your workplace into a showplace, and your home into a work of art. Preserve the character of your business and the value of your home with our stylish, hassle-free, bamboo flooring.

Grass not wood
All Bamboo Laminated Plank Flooring, a new flooring material in its natural state, is harder than Northern Red Oak. Some of its characteristics include having three layers, factory finished with 3 coats of 100% solid UV cured acrylic urethane, and such excellent stability that it can only be surpassed by Mesquite, with a dimensional change coefficient being 0.00144. Because of the way we build our products, BFI can and does extend a lifetime warranty covering structural integrity.

History of bamboo
An ancient medicine, bamboo has for centuries been used in Chinese acupuncture, treating asthma, and soothing coughs. In China, ingredients from the root of the black bamboo help treat kidney disease. Roots and leaves have also been used to treat venereal disease and cancer, and the bamboo sap is said to reduce fever. People came to believe that, because of its mysterious botany and unique appearance, bamboo was a sacred plant where gods lodged in the hollow culm.

Not only does bamboo make an exceptional alternative to hardwood flooring, it's unique and exotic historical purposes will add a sense of mystery and pride to your flooring.

Not all flooring is alike
Carpeting may be one of the most risky choices in flooring. Many volatile organic chemicals, such as 4-phenycyclohexene which is used in the backing of the carpet, are emitted, which creates the odors that are commonly associated with new carpeting.

Choosing BFI may be one of the most sound decisions you will ever make, knowing that the quality products that we produce not only helps the environment, but also does not contain harsh chemicals that may endanger the health of your employees or family members. The process that we put our bamboo through creates products that we can be proud of. When installed, the horizontal characteristic joints that identify the bamboo plant will give the floor a unique appearance that no hardwood floor could every accomplish.

Why Bamboo instead of wood
We choose bamboo as a flooring material for its durability and stability, and also because of its environmental friendliness. Tomorrow’s superstar of building materials, the woody grass, is the most useful plant available. Its many uses include providing food, a building material for furniture and musical instruments, medicine, preventing erosion, and to allow people to have an environmentally conscious hardwood floor. At BFI, the grass is always greener.

No Need To Wax
Our quality acrylic polyurethane coating requires less attention, and is especially designed for today's carefree lifestyle....no need to wax our bamboo floors. Simply clean with a slightly damp mop, and vacuum as necessary. Also BFI's luxurious floor is very resistant to scuffing, staining, moisture, discoloration, and is anti-mildew.
